I have been a gear head since I was 5 when I was dropped on my head and that's when it all began. I have to many projects not enough time and money to finish them all. I spend my weekend mornings watching the power block then I am out in the garage the rest of the day working on my project cars.

4th to last one is my favorite, they're all funny and I can see how they are true accident reports

thats a neat concept of the coffin shape muffler. I like the hearse, not a fan of the super huge wheels. 18" is the biggest I go on anything I have built. Do you make those mufflers in stainless?

Their coffee is the worst, it is absolutely horrible. The people that go there and drink their coffee are "eccentric" and they like writing screen plays or novels in public because "what's the point of writing if no one can watch you type"
Re: How do electric cars do in collisions?

I saw the Tesla on Top Gear, pretty cool for an electric car..... smugness + uncool = prius, The car kinda reminds me of a lotus exige. If it were my car and if I could afford that particular I would be sick. I never would have thought a prius would never have had enough power to shove a car under a mini van.

Is my perspective screwed up or do you have the engine in the back of that thing?
-e-merlin
its in the front, he is running an I beam axle, look at the edge and you king see the steering knuckles, king pin etc. The reasosn it looks like its the rear of the car is because of the red pan hard bar that's going in front of the axle. (optical illusion) I had to take a double take myself

I did a stereo install in a 99 Freightliner Classic for my dad, we since sold the truck. Had 3200 watt stereo in it. It was fun wiring it because, when I managed to get in the dash and wire in the headunit i found that all of the wires were yellow and did not have any numbers on them. I ended up running all the wiring for the speakers under the cab because there was nowhere to go in the cab with them. When I installed the speakers in the overhead I had to drop the headliner, and overhead compartment itself and naturally the air horn went off. Kept the amps under the bunk where the qualcomm unit used to be. The best thing of all is that I did not take away any storage space in the truck. It took me about a week to get the entire stereo set up with the fiberglass enclosures etc I had to make.
WTB: International Harvester Scout, and a Schwitzer S200G turbo for another project
October 18, 2009 by jrod
I am looking for a 4x4 International Scout from the early to late 60's. It can be a complete basket case as long as it runs and drives. My commuter car died and went to the salvage yard. (Didn't wreck it, a fuel injector stuck and the engine grenaded. cost more to fix the car than what the car itself is worth so I sold it to the local salvage yard for close to blue book value.) I don't know what those old scouts go for now a days, my dad has owned several over the years and said they are great for the winter time.
As for the turbo, it is for my mustang. The Schwitzer S200G is typically found on a deutz tractor, I bought one for cheap, that is like brand new, however, I cannot seem to find another one.
Thanks in advance

thats what I highly recommend using for header fabrication. Have any pics of the car?
Re: New here

Welcome to the forums. I have been messing around with fabricating headers for the past month. I have been using these things made by hooker headers, it holds the tubing together and it also doesn't allow anything to get inside the tube as your welding

Single row radiator huh. Try an honda civic radiator, they are small and compact and I believe are a 2 row.
