If I have an urge for a fast food burger , I go to Hardee's, they are miles above  just about any fast food place out there except for maybe a Fat Mo's burger. Those are not nationwide , only local. If you ever get down Nashville , TN way then you must get a Fat Mo's burger!

Ummmm.......I hate to tell you but they are national. We've got them up here and I've seen them all over the place travelling. They bought out the Sandee's chain years ago to go national.

my favorite has to be In N Out Burger, shame we don't have them in SE IN. E Merlin Taco Hell gets my order wrong all the time and I just quit going there. Subway and Penn Station are better anyways

I agree with the hardees comment.If you want some good food hit a jacks!They have some of the best Fries!Not some tiny lil noodle fries.They have Thick suckers.

I used to work at a Hardees here when I was in college. Great food for a fast food joint. Best fast food breakfast ever. The local franchise owner was skimming off the top and got in tax trouble or something and had to shut down shortly after I quit. Nobody's ever reopened any in this area.

I've decided to stop going to this particular Burger King, but the other one is clear across town. It's a bit inconvienient, but I don't get the fast food jones more than a couple of times a week. There's a McDonald's, an Arby's, a Wendy's and a Sonic pretty close, though. Plenty of choice here for a small town.

   I wrked in a small diner called The Tennessean when I was in high school. It had the best burgers I've ever eaten. There were only two diners and when the owners retired, the new owner didn't keep the recipe. Both are closed now. It took me twenty years but I managed to recreate the spices and I now make the best burgers you'll ever eat. However, mine are substantial, not as thin as most restaurants make. I'd love to open a restaurant so I can give McDonalds a run for their money. I don't like to brag, that's hubris and goes against my upbringing, but what Lou is to metal, I am to burgers. No, I won't tell anybody what the recipe is. :-)

 I"m trying not to get asked/escorted out of a burger joint-whaterver. We travel around CA selling at renn fairs, so we get exposed to a lot of fast (or not so fast) food. I don't mind them hiring the handycapped, its the idiots I can' stand. The ones who ignore you to talk to friends. Then there are the people in front of you who can't make up their mind. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, the menus are llimited. Make up your mind. I find the older I get the less I can handle rude/stupid people. Best way is for me to keep away from people in general..Watch for headlines that state "retired AF sgt banded from------"

About 6-7yrs ago I went through our local McDonalds drive through. The line was LONGGGGGGGG, so I ordered & had to wait about 5 minutes before i got to the window & paid. When I went to the next window to get my order I checked & it was wrong. They said to wait a second & they would correct it. Guess what, it was wrong again. So I waited a few more minutes & then the girl came to the window & asked me to pull around to the front & they would bring it out to me. I looked at her, then at the reciept to see what time they took my order & then at my watch. From the time I ordered until the 3rd  time they were going to correct it about 15minutes had passed. I looked at the girl & told her NO, this is a drive through at a fast food restruant and it's been 15minutes since you took my order & you still don't have it right. I put my truck in park & turned it off & told her I wasn't leaving until they got the order correct. Yes I shut the drive through down.
FINALLY after 25 minutes I finally got my order & it was correct. To this day  the manager remembers it because I continue to remind them that I will shut the drive through down again if it ever takes that long again. Best part is if they screw up my order even if it so much as putting a pickle on my hamburger when I ask them not to I call up and bitch about it. You be amazed at the amount of free food I have gotten over  the years. Hell White Castles set me $30 worth of free food coupons because of a messed up order  when the "THEN" manager did not send me the $5 worth of coupon he had promised me when they messed up my order. Best part is the manager got his ass chewed out by the home office & was sent back for retraining ...joe

Was working at a Logan's Roadhouse today and saw Stacey David come in with a couple of other fellows. I did not want to bother the man whilst he ate a late lunch so I did approach him. Still was pretty awesome to see him in person , he is a pretty big dude.

I do not work for them , I work for a maintenance/ repair company and just happened to be there.  

E-Merlin.  I just call the order in for a later date just say simply that they got the order wrong.  They usually replace it later at no charge.  Can't beat a free meal.
