I have a 1970 C20 pickup that I want to lower 2 inches in front and 4 in the rear. I want to be able to tow my camper with it. If anyone knows where I can find a kit or a way I can do this myself I would love to know. Also want to know how I can put larger brake rotors and still keep it 8 lug. Want to keep it some what original. I don't know of too many 1970 C20 longbed stepsides.

Stacey David did something similar with an 80s C10. I can't remember where he got the parts, but you could check with his website, www.gearztv.com .

I think he did a shackle flip on the rear. My C20 has coil springs and trailing arm setup. I want to keep the truck a 3/4 ton so I'm really not interested in converting the suspension to a half ton.

Well, there's always Lou's cut and weld lowering job for the front. It would probably work on the back end as well!
