Anyone know where I can find a carb rebuild it for a Carter Ball and Ball DTE2 carby?Didn't really know where to post this since it is not on a car or truck.....it is on an aircraft tug with a 1963 Chrysler industrial 218 or 230 flathead I6 engine.I installed a new electric pump today and guess the float is stuck cause it was spraying fuel out the vent tube and pouring out hte bottom of the Float bowl.

personally I have had good experience with napa. Better yet find an independent parts house that is not part of a big franchise such as o reilly, autozone, advance auto parts. There is a place I deal with locally in the tri state area called KOI. Kentucky Ohio Indiana parts, they have just about anything you need for anything.

Thanks.I managed to find it on Napas site....Man,who is the idiot that designed all of their sites....Why couldn't they have an advanced gear head feature where you know what part you need just don't know what vehicles it originally came on.Cause I spend forever searching and finally found it was used on a 1951 Powerwagon.

well,I started reassembling the carb today and snapped off a butterfly screw.Oh well.I will get a new ones tomorrow.I never could get the needle out for the accellerator squirters but it worked before the rebuild.I used Hemostats/Roach clips
and still couldn't get it to come out and I had a HARD grab on it. So far so good....I will say I HATE THAT DAMN RETAINTER for the accellerator pump piston check ball......Designed by an idiot, built by a moron, owned by a total nut job....
