Greg..Yes I think so..but as you know "stuff happens" should be dropping in the motor and trans by the end of the month.
If it fires and is drivable. Then off the the paint booth. Thanks

The rack is from a GM J body..caviliar grand am ETC. after we get it where we want it we'll put a new one on.
We use a bone yard part for buildup and testing. It drives great and all testing is about done..
Why buy one when you can build one..!!! Thought you'd like the BARN we do Fords..around here we call em Sleepers..Stock on the outside
hot rods under the skin..

You got that right, making parts fit like that is a hell of a lot of fun as well as a good $ idea. I am a few weeks away from cutting into my 72 . Disc brakes, power steering that is . The brakes are easy but I was thinking I about something a little different for the steering, Thats why when I seen yours I thought that was cool. If you dont mind sharing alittle info, I would love to know I could make that settup work in mine.

I'll give you all the info i can..the 70-73 are not the same as the 68-69 but how you'll get the rack on and the bone yard parts will be the same..its just the placement of the mounts and inner tie rod plate will have different hole locations..you can do it..with out header it gets really simple.

The rack you'll need is a GM J body..we used a 94 Grand Am..pics will show Pass side outside frame..Pass side inside frame bracket view..Dr side inside frame..Dr side outer frame bracket view..Tierod center plate and same pic with new crossmember..KEEP the tierod dimensions the same as now..!!! MUST remain on the same plane to each other and frame rails.
Hope all this helps..Any questions just ask i'll do what i can to answer..good luck and Have fun.. J.Klink..
