On Sat. Jan.17 2009 we lost a close friend Jonathan Efird. He was burned in a bonfire accident and he will be missed greatly. Efird was in the process of building another Toyota truck to take rock crawling,so we decided we were going to finish his truck the way he wanted it,and show it in his memory. I don't have any pics of his truck right now so here are some pics of the last rig Efird built. I will post up pics of the new truck soon.

Thanks guys, I know it's what Efird would want. His dad even said he would take it wheeling with all the guys. Hey Lou, Efird was the guy that got on top of the paint room and got your truck fenders down the other day.

We picked up the truck from Efird's parents house today. We plan to get started cutting out all the stock suspension tomorrow evening. Thanks to Jacob and Adam  Stirewalt for bringing over the tractor and skid steer to help move the axles.

How about a rundown on the drivetrain?

My condolances to the family of your friend.

The drivetrain is a Toyota 22re turbo with the stock 5 speed and two stock Toyota transfer cases with 4.7 gears in the rear case. The axles are 2 1/2 ton rockwells.
