OK, I will go first. Last saturday on the way home from our clubs BBQ, I was driving my 'support vehicle' '93 GMC Yukon, Gittin' close to home I got a little wild and found out that my Yukon...might...be a little big to be bangin gears. Yup, little chirp, between first and second, and FUCKIN BANG rumble rumble. FUCK...it was so loud people came out of their house thinking there had been an accident.

After AAA got me home, I got to looking around and I took out the slip yoke, and the u-joint, we will never know which went first. All and all, not as expensive as I thought, could have been the tranny...

Moral..?...yea the 5400lb Yukon MIGHT be a little heavy to be bangin' gears...

Blue...

Like Dirty Harry once said, "A man's gotta know his limitations." Tough break, at least its not too expensive.

Haha, We had a Dodge truck get towed in to the dealership I work at a few weeks ago. The guys Story went like this, He was at a stop light, when the light turned green he hit the gas and nothing happened. They guy completely sheared off the pinion yoke and the u-joint ear by the transfer case. something about the mug covered right rear tires that had been so obviously spun. when the guy had purchased the truck (used) he also bought an aftermarket warranty from us, well the service writer (i wont get in to what I think of him) decided to come hose off the tires before the insurance adjuster came and looked at it, so he could get it covered.
