The shaft driven overhead cams of the Merlins amaze me that they were developed in the 1930's. AWESOME ENGINE they are.

Lou, that's 13 tons... Think about an M-114, ONLY 8 tons, and they were small block Chevy powered... just think, ya may be able to squeeze a big block in it, turbos, wide treads (don't know how you could get some spinners on em tho..) , or this v-12 Continental Tank engine on e-bay right now.

Sakes, you could put spinners on the boagie wheels in the tracks. Just think, 4 per side for 8 total instead of just 4.

Lou, you are BY FAR, the coolest dude I've ever seen on a car show. I gotta wonder about networks that let guys like you and Stacy David get away, then try to replace ya with the knuckleheads they got on there now. I forget now which episode I saw with you in it first, but you were fabricating something from scratch, and I said to my self "now there's a guy like me, that would rather make something exactly the way he wants it, rather than pick up and phone and order stuff that bolts together". You instantly became my TV Car Show hero, :-)
